Fearless Content Group Rebrand

Client: Fearless Content Group

Roles: Brand Strategy, Visual Identity Development & Graphic Design

The Problem

Fearless Content Group is a content writing services agency specializing in serving SaaS companies, agribusinesses, recruiting/staffing firms, and marketing agencies. After a few years in business, Fearless decided it was time for a new visual identity and a fully developed brand.

Approach

Having worked with the owner Timothy Wier previously, we worked together to develop a thorough creative brief, “mini” personas of their target audience, and a visual identity that reflected the group’s current strategy.

Research

Our first step was to get a sense of how agencies with similar offerings were presenting themselves. Fearless Content Group often collaborates with marketing agencies rather than competing with them, so we also focused on brands that evoked adjectives that we were aiming to incorporate into the brand: expert, personal, and quality.

We started a shared moodboard in Figma where I added images, colors, and questions that Timothy was able to respond to within the file, allowing us to collaborate asynchronously.

Ideation

With a set of brand adjectives and an idea of visual treatments that might fit those, we began experimenting with potential color combinations and logotype drafts.

Logo Selection & Development

After presenting the above four brand concepts, we decided to move forward with concept #2 and refine it further.

Outcomes

Fearless Content Group now has a brand personality, visual identity, and brand assets and standards that reflect their mission: We seek to empower companies to grow their audiences, build their brands, and achieve success through clear, exciting, and compelling messages.
